Ansys Minerva 2024 R1: Simulation According to Recipe

More complexity, more collaboration, less time? Intuitively generated workflows in the new Ansys Minerva prevent potential bottlenecks in simulation. This further development also underlines the value of efficient simulation process and data management (SPDM), as users benefit directly from this in their day-to-day business.

A lot has changed in simulation process and data management (SPDM) with Ansys Minerva compared to the previous release in version 2024 R1. The development strategy of Ansys takes into account the trend that significantly more users are dealing with this topic. The reasons for this are the ever-increasing complexity of their products and the simultaneous demand for lean and short development processes.

The three most common drivers for this are:

  1. the increasing amount of simulation data and its traceability.
  2. teamwork and the associated exchange of information and data.
  3. the reduction in the workload of simulation experts, who previously had to perform the associated tasks manually.

Save simulation workflows and make them available to everyone

Ansys Minerva 2024 R1 makes this easier. Even for complex simulation workflows, a kind of "recipe" can be stored in Ansys Minerva as part of the SPDM. This can be used by other colleagues via the wizard, which also has a positive effect on the quality of the results and the exchange of knowledge.

A pleasant side effect is that searching for previous simulations has also become even easier and more efficient. All the data required for simulation runs based on this data can be retrieved directly and in the shortest possible time. Previously, this was associated with greater time expenditure, which has now been practically eliminated or can be invested elsewhere.
