Tips & tricks for your daily working routines
In the rapidly evolving landscape of wireless technology, staying ahead requires not only innovation but also the integration of cutting-edge tools and methodologies. CADFEM, a leader in digital engineering, is at the forefront of this revolution with the industry golden standard package HFSS designed to enhance and transform the field of microwave engineering.
2024 R2, what is the big deal?
The frequency sweep, the longest step in most simulations is now up to 20 % faster. This is super exciting for all our of users.
Any other interesting features?
Of course, Our Python API PyAEDT got even more powerful. With ready-made extensions, e.g. the new antenna toolkit, many tasks could be automated and customized. By the way we have 20.000 downloads of PyAEDT per month. Unbelievable!
How about phased arrays? I know this is your favorite topic, Alex.
My users know me very well! In this release you can have multiple finite arrays. This is useful for example if you have a TX and RX arrays collocated together or an antenna array covered by a planar FSS radome. Also you can have Taylor, Chebyshev and Binomial aperture tapering now.
That’s it?
Wait! We have a new product called perceive EM. This is a CUDA based raytracer to simulate large scenarios, you can even simulate whole cities with it
